Park benches for public spaces
Casa Padrino presents a collection of park benches designed for public spaces: for town parks, market squares and promenades, but equally for hotel gardens and the grounds of private estates.
Materials and construction
The benches are made from cast iron, wood, steel and stainless steel. The combination determines how a bench ages: cast iron and steel carry the structure, wooden slats form the seat, the coating protects against weather. For heavily used areas the joints are designed so that individual parts can be replaced.
The design language follows historical models – art nouveau and neoclassicism – without looking like a museum piece. That allows the benches to fit into grown townscapes where modern street furniture often looks out of place.
Alongside benches, the range includes further equipment for public spaces, among them waste bins, planters and bicycle stands. Enquiries from towns, municipalities and contract furnishers are answered directly by Casa Padrino.
