Casa Padrino receives international design award during the Cannes Film Festival 2025

Cannes, 23 May 2025 – The renowned luxury furniture house Casa Padrino was honoured during the Cannes Film Festival at one of the year's most exclusive award ceremonies. In the elegant setting of the Beach Ball Gala Dinner & Awards 2025, the company received the award for outstanding design quality and a strong international brand position.

Founder and managing director Marvin Schertl and Dr Sina Schertl accepted the honour in person on the evening of 22 May 2025 in the elegant surroundings of the Majestic Beach Club. The award recognised Casa Padrino as a leading address for luxurious furniture with the highest standards of aesthetics, materials and craftsmanship.

The gala dinner is one of the most exquisite highlights in the social calendar of the film festival. It was staged jointly by the AI Films Awards (Jacques Durand), Congress Awards (Anna Stukkert) and The Royal Gentlemen (Thomas Misse & Marek Harmony). Alina Kremss hosted the evening and guided the audience through a varied and refined programme.

The award recognised the rare combination of artistic design, outstanding craftsmanship and a deep understanding of elegant living – the qualities that have made Casa Padrino a respected name in international interior design. The brand stands for a luxurious way of living that brings together history, individuality and elegance in contemporary form.

Being honoured at an event as distinguished and as tastefully curated as the Beach Ball in Cannes fills us with great joy and pride”, said Marvin Schertl. “It confirms the path we have taken and inspires us to keep setting standards in luxury furniture.

The evening was devoted to the Grand Art de Vivre and combined artistic variety with social excellence. An exclusive art exhibition, an elegant fashion show, first-class musical performances and a refined gourmet dinner created an extraordinary atmosphere.

Alongside Casa Padrino, other personalities were honoured for their outstanding work, among them:

  • Ioanna Efthymiou for her humanitarian commitment with the Maria Callas Charity in Monaco

  • Toby Hyder, honoured for his film Bones of Yew with the AI Films Award

The 2025 edition of the Beach Ball Gala Dinner once again showed the highest class, international relevance and cultural finesse – and Casa Padrino was proud to be part of this unforgettable evening.
