The fountain is made from a fine cast stone and concrete mix that is around 15 percent harder, stronger and heavier than ordinary concrete. This is what gives the ornamentation its crisp definition and the piece its stability: weighing 700 kg, the fountain stands immovably, defies frost and weather and keeps its contours for years.
