The motif
A folding table with a round top and two folding chairs: the top shows a spoke pattern with a rosette in the centre, the chair backs are tall and fan-shaped, topped with volutes and a fleur-de-lis. All three parts fold flat.

Craftsmanship and finish
Table top and seats are fanned from flat steel and riveted, the fleurs-de-lis and rosettes applied individually. The folding mechanism works without tools. The frame is bent by hand from round iron, welded and dressed, the ornaments applied one by one. Finally the piece is primed and lacquered in several layers, the last layer taken back slightly at the edges so that the surface looks used.

Placement and effect
The set is made for small spaces: balcony, roof terrace, conservatory or a corner of the garden. Folded up it fits behind a door, which also suits catering with changing seating.

Material and care
The furniture is made for outdoors and tolerates sun and rain. Over the winter it should be stored dry or covered, which noticeably extends the life of the lacquer. Small scratches can be touched up with a lacquer pen, stubborn dirt comes off with water and a soft brush.
