A young woman raises both arms and arranges the blossoms in her hair while the gown slips over her shoulders and falls in long soft folds to the ground. This union of figure and plant ornament is the core of Art Nouveau around 1900.

Fine craftsmanship and solid bronze
The figure is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax process, each piece chased and patinated individually by hand. The warm golden brown patina is polished lighter along the edges of the folds, and blossoms and hair are chased individually. It stands on a turned round base of black marble.

Placement and effect
