The casting is lacquered in ivory and wiped by hand so the recesses stand darker than the edges. Sixteen flames spread across two levels.

Cut crystal leaves hang between the arms and strings of beads run down from the upper ring. The pale finish takes the heaviness out of the baroque.

In a bright room with a white ceiling the structure almost disappears and the crystal remains. Anyone who wants splendour but no gold tone in the room is right here.
