Colour chart for solid wood furniture

Wood shades: the timber swatches at a glance

With these finishes the timber stays visible. The surface is waxed, brushed, oiled or stained, and the grain carries the shade. No paint covers the structure. E stands for oak, K for pine, as the same stain behaves differently on each timber.

Lacquer colours: the colour card

Opaque, silk-matt, applied in two coats. We use water-based eco lacquer only, tested and harmless, suitable even for children's furniture.

Antiqued and two-tone

Antique finish

Every one of the 36 lacquer colours is also available antiqued. After lacquering, edges and mouldings are sanded back by hand until the timber shows through in places. This is done piece by piece, so no two items ever look exactly alike. Simply add an A to the colour code: F02 becomes F02 A.

Two-tone 8

Two shades on one piece: the base coat goes on first, the second over it, and at the edges the base shade reappears. Equally possible: different inside and out, or a contrasting top. All 72 shades on this page can be combined, the eight photos are only examples.
