The lion head is embroidered, not printed. The mane is built from individually laid threads in orange, red and black running outwards in rays, which gives the head depth.
Below it a wreath of sunflowers spans the lower half, also embroidered. It picks up the colours of the mane and balances them.
The ground is a warm cream that carries the strong colours without competing with them. No fringing, which makes this cushion read plainer than the others.
