The exclusive Luxury Vase by Casa Padrino is made of terracotta and carries a rustic, antique style surface reminiscent of old Mediterranean vessels. Measuring 52 x 52 cm with a height of 59 cm, it is a generous floor vase that makes an impression entirely on its own. Around 20 kg of weight give the vase a reassuringly solid footing.

Material and workmanship
Terracotta is fired clay, a natural material with warm, earthy tones. The deliberately aged surface with its irregular marks and shading gives every vase the character of a long used find. As clay is a natural material and every vase is made individually, no two are alike: tone and surface pattern vary from piece to piece, and every vase is unique.

Use
As a floor vase it comes into its own in the entrance area, next to the fireplace or in a free corner of the room, and it also works beautifully as a pair or in a group of different sizes. Dried grasses, branches or a large dried flower arrangement underline the Mediterranean character, yet it also stands empty as a calm, sculptural form. It suits natural tones, linen and light wood just as well as modern, pared back interiors.

Care and notes
A soft, dry cloth is all it takes for cleaning; if needed, use a slightly damp cloth without any cleaning agents. Terracotta is naturally porous: for fresh flowers with water, a waterproof liner inside the vase is recommended. Always lift the vase to move it, never push it across the floor, and make sure it stands on a level, load-bearing surface, as it carries noticeable weight.
