A race car on the wall
Some objects furnish a room; others define it. This Formula 1 art piece by Casa Padrino belongs to the second kind: 180 centimetres long, in high-gloss black with gilded surfaces, made as a limited edition.
Wall or plinth
Mounted on a wall, the car looks as though it had been caught mid-flight – the combination of deep black and gold carries the light of the room. On a black marble console the focus shifts to the form instead: the front wing, the cockpit, the line above the sidepods.
A brass plate with designation and dimension is part of it, as with any collector's piece.
