Casa Padrino at the Pavillon Royal during the Cannes Film Festival

A sculpture on the red carpet

Cannes, May 2026 – The 79th Cannes Film Festival ran from 12 to 23 May. Around the Palais des Festivals the Croisette turns into a sequence of receptions, pavilions and evening events. One of them was the Pavillon Royal, where Casa Padrino was present.

The horse as an entrance

At the entrance stood the black and gold Casa Padrino horse sculpture on a black marble plinth with the CP monogram – a piece that does not decorate but marks an address. On a red carpet, against the façade, it reads like a signature.

That is exactly what such objects are made for: entrances of hotels, showrooms and residences where the first impression decides the rest.

Marvin and Dr Sina Schertl represented the house on site. For Casa Padrino the Côte d'Azur is a core market – and the film festival is the moment when everyone there meets.
