This pendant lamp by Casa Padrino tapers step by step towards the bottom. Four rings of differing size sit above one another, and from each hang tightly spaced vertical glass rods. From top to bottom the cone narrows until it ends in a slim bundle.

The effect comes from repetition. Hundreds of identical rods stand parallel to one another and let the light out in vertical lines. Unlike cut crystal drops there is no scattering in all directions, but a calm, directed shine.

The gold-coloured ring at the top carries the construction and is at the same time the only colour accent. It picks up the warm light and gives the otherwise colourless lamp a tone that suits brass, oak and dark fabrics.
