The base of this Casa Padrino table lamp follows the form of an antique urn: a bellied bowl on a short stem, above it a stepped lid section with encircling rings, the whole standing on a square stepped plinth.

It is made from solid aluminium, polished by hand. The surface reflects softly and shows the surroundings distorted in its curve, as otherwise only silverware does. At 9.8 kg the lamp stands firmly and will not tip.

The black fabric shade is included in the price. Its white lining throws the light back downwards, so the light falls warmly onto the table top while the shade stays dark and calm on the outside.

At 66 cm high it suits a sideboard, console or desk and is tall enough to serve as reading light beside an armchair. Placed in pairs it gives a sideboard immediate symmetry.
