Antique brass handles

A cabinet that draws its effect from a single idea: the geometric marquetry across the doors. Diamonds assembled from solid meranti form a pattern that tips into three dimensions as the light moves, giving the front a depth no printed surface can match.

At 171 cm tall and only 56 cm deep, the Jane is a tall cabinet rather than a sideboard. It takes little floor and plenty of wall, which makes it equally useful in dining rooms, home bars and hotel spaces. Inside there is room for bottles and glassware; the antique brass handles provide the warm contrast to the dark mocha tone.

It is built from plywood and MDF with oak veneer, the fittings in stainless steel. That makes it heavy, at close to 60 kg assembly takes two people, and equally stable.
