Before ordering, questions come up about dimensions, colours and materials; during delivery, about scheduling and transport; and afterwards, perhaps about care, warranty or a withdrawal. Casa Padrino is the furniture brand of Demotex GmbH, based in Essen, Germany. Since 2007 we have been advising private clients, hoteliers, restaurateurs, architects and interior designers in Germany, across Europe and around the world.
Who answers when you contact Casa Padrino
When you call or write to us, you do not reach an outsourced call centre. You reach our own team at Hammer Str. 64 in Essen, where management and customer service work side by side.
The company is led by managing director Marvin Schertl, who founded the brand in 2007 and still shapes its style today. Advice before you buy: dimensions, materials and style
Most enquiries reach us before an order is placed. Will the armchair fit the alcove beside the fireplace? Does a mirror with a gilded frame work alongside a silver chest of drawers? How does green upholstery look against white chair frames?
Our range covers luxury furniture in baroque, Art déco and classic style, together with lighting, mirrors, accessories, garden furniture and sculptures. How to prepare your enquiry
The more precise your enquiry, the faster and more reliably we can respond. The following details have proved useful:
Item number or link of the piece in question.
Order number, if you have already ordered, so we can locate your order straight away.
Room dimensions, and where space is tight, door widths, staircase and ceiling height as well.
Photos of the room or, after delivery, of the piece concerned.
Country and address for delivery, so that we can assess the shipping route and shipping costs correctly.
None of this is compulsory. A short message with a simple question is always welcome.
While you order: payment, invoice and shipping costs
You can pay by PayPal, credit card or bank transfer. All prices include statutory VAT, and shipping costs are shown before you complete your order.
Every order comes with a proper invoice issued by Demotex GmbH. If your company needs a particular billing address or specific details for its accounts, it is best to let us know when you place the order.
Delivery and transport damage: we take care of it
We deliver within Germany, across Europe and worldwide. Large furniture is securely packed and transported by freight forwarder, smaller items travel by parcel service. Goods are handed over as kerbside delivery.
Even with careful packaging, something can occasionally happen on a long journey. If it does, please note any visible damage on the delivery note when you receive the goods, photograph the packaging and the furniture, and send us the photos. Casa Padrino handles the claim with the freight forwarder and arranges repair, replacement or a refund. A step-by-step guide is available on our page furniture transport damage: what to do.
Withdrawal, warranty and returns
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods. Bespoke pieces made to your specifications are excluded. The full wording is available on our right of withdrawal page.
In addition, the statutory warranty applies. For consumers in Germany and the EU, the general legal warranty period is two years. If a defect appears during this time, the best approach is to describe it to us with photos and your order number. More information is available on our page about furniture returns.
Service for hotels, restaurants, architects and bespoke projects
Alongside private clients, we work with commercial clients. For hotels, restaurants and bars we plan complete interiors, from the lobby to the guest rooms and the dining room. Architects and interior designers work with us on projects where quantities, fabrics, colours and dimensions all have to match precisely.
Send us plans, room schedules or mood boards, and we will discuss with you which pieces from the range are suitable and where a bespoke design makes sense. Our cooperation with designer Harald Glööckler, "Pompöös by Casa Padrino", covering furniture, decoration and bathtubs, is another subject on which we are glad to advise.

Consumers can withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods; custom-made pieces are excluded. Simply let us know in writing, and we will discuss the next steps with you.
