Visit Casa Padrino in Essen: address, opening hours and how to prepare
Demotex GmbH · Essen · since 2007
A piece of furniture that is meant to define a room is rarely bought on impulse. Many customers therefore ask whether they can visit Casa Padrino in Essen, where exactly we are based and what such a visit involves. The short answer is yes, you are welcome. This page explains how to make the most of your appointment.
Casa Padrino is the furniture brand of Demotex GmbH. Since 2007 we have designed and sold luxury furniture in baroque, Art déco and classic style, together with lighting, mirrors, accessories, garden furniture and sculptures. From Essen we furnish private homes, hotels, restaurants and bars in Germany, across Europe and worldwide.
A visit is most rewarding when it is prepared. If you bring measurements, photos and a clear idea of what you are looking for, you leave with concrete answers rather than new questions.

Why a personal visit can be worthwhile
What a screen can only hint at are proportions in a real room, the way colours change in daylight and the feel of a surface. In conversation, questions like these are settled in minutes instead of several emails.
Often the interplay matters more than the single piece. Does the armchair suit your sofa? How much gold can the room take? During a visit we can look at your project as a whole.
You also see for yourself that a registered company with a real address stands behind the shop. More on this on our page Is Casa Padrino legit?
Get in touch before you come
We recommend contacting us briefly by phone or email before your visit. The reason is simple: our range is large, and what can be seen on site on a given day changes. If we know in advance what you have in mind, we can prepare for your appointment and discuss the right pieces with you beforehand.
When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:
- ◆the room or project in question (living room, dining room, bedroom, garden, hotel room, bar),
- ◆the items from the shop that interest you, ideally with a link or item number,
- ◆your preferred day and approximate time,
- ◆whether you are considering a custom-made piece.
All the ways to reach us are on our contact page. See also Casa Padrino customer service.

“We had long been looking for a furniture store with such a large selection of furniture that not everyone has [...] The selection is really top and the prices are absolutely fair [...] Nothing is pushed on you, the advice is balanced.”

Bring the right measurements
Baroque furniture and large upholstered pieces have real presence, so it pays to measure calmly beforehand. The most useful figures are:
- ◆Room dimensions: length, width and ceiling height, plus the position of windows, doors, radiators and sockets.
- ◆Wall space: the free wall length or alcove the piece should fit into, and the distance to walkways.
- ◆The way into the house: width and height of the front door, interior doors and hallways, staircase width and turns, the size of any lift.
- ◆Existing furniture: the height of a sofa, table or bed that new pieces should match.
The route into the house is often forgotten. Since large furniture is delivered by freight forwarder as kerbside delivery, knowing these dimensions also helps you plan how the piece gets inside.

Photos of the room: what really helps
Photos show what figures cannot: light, colours, flooring and the style that is already in the room. A few pointers:
- ◆Take pictures in daylight and, if possible, from several corners of the room.
- ◆Show the wall or area in question once straight on and once at an angle.
- ◆Include the floor, wall colour, curtains and existing furniture.
- ◆For outdoor areas: the terrace or garden with paving, walls and planting.
If you have a floor plan or a sketch with dimensions, bring it along on paper or on your phone. Sent by email in advance, your photos help us prepare.
Clarify style, wishes and budget
Besides measurements and photos, a rough idea of the direction helps. It does not need to be a finished concept. A few pictures of interiors you like show us whether you lean towards opulent baroque, Art déco or quiet classic elegance.
Think also about which colours are fixed, how the piece will be used and what budget you have in mind. A good starting point is our page on baroque furniture, and practical advice is collected on buying baroque furniture.

Visits for hotels, restaurants and designers
We also furnish hotels, restaurants and bars completely. Such projects involve many rooms and a fixed schedule, so talking beforehand is particularly useful. Bring floor plans, room lists and any design concept.
We work regularly with architects and interior designers. If your designer joins the appointment, technical questions and design wishes can be brought together in one conversation. Read more on Casa Padrino for architects and dealers.
Discussing custom-made pieces in person
Not every piece exists in the size or colour you need. For such cases we make furniture to measure, and this is exactly where a personal meeting is valuable: proportions, finishes, fabrics and details are easier to agree at a table than in long message threads.
For a bespoke piece, bring precise measurements, photos of where it will stand and examples of the look you want. Please note that custom-made pieces are produced specifically for you and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal, so all details should be clear before ordering. The process is described on bespoke furniture: the process.

After your visit: ordering, payment and delivery
You do not need to decide on the day. You can order later in the online shop or by email. Payment is by PayPal, credit card or bank transfer, prices include statutory VAT, and you receive a proper invoice from Demotex GmbH. Shipping costs are shown before you complete your order.
Large furniture travels securely packed by freight forwarder, smaller items by parcel service, and delivery is kerbside. If a piece arrives with visible damage, please note it on the delivery note on receipt and send us photos. We handle the claim with the forwarder and arrange repair, replacement or refund. As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods; details are on our withdrawal page.
If Essen is too far away
Not everyone can travel to Essen, and a visit is not a requirement for ordering. The preparation stays the same: send us measurements, photos and your wishes by email to info@casa-padrino.de or call +49 201 36577485, and we will answer your questions about dimensions, materials and delivery.
What other customers have experienced can be read in their reviews. On our Google Business Profile Casa Padrino holds 4.9 out of 5 stars from 364 reviews (as of October 2026).
