This pendant lamp by Casa Padrino takes up a form from the middle of the 20th century: a solid sphere at the centre from which twelve arms reach out in all directions like a star. Each arm ends in a brushed brass trumpet holding a white opal glass globe.

The appeal lies in the irregularity. The arms differ in length and sit at varying angles, so the globes float on several levels. The lamp looks different from every side, and no two lines of sight give the same picture.
