Casa Padrino awards: recognition, membership and customer ratings

Casa Padrino is the furniture brand of Demotex GmbH, based in Essen, Germany. Since 2007 we have been creating luxury furniture in baroque, Art déco and classic style, together with lighting, mirrors, accessories, garden furniture and sculptures. We furnish private homes, hotels, restaurants and bars, and we make bespoke pieces to order.

Awards are not an end in themselves. They do show, however, that our work is noticed by people outside our own company. What matters even more to us is the judgement of those who live with our furniture every day: our customers. That is why you will find both here, the recognition we have received from the design world and from partners, and the ratings our customers have left on several platforms.

The "Excellence in Luxury Interior Design" award, Cannes 2025

In 2025 Casa Padrino received the "Excellence in Luxury Interior Design" award during the Festival de Cannes. The presentation took place in the Pavillon Royal, and the award was accepted by founder and managing director Marvin Schertl. Its title sums up quite precisely what Casa Padrino is about: interiors of a high standard, in which furniture, lighting, mirrors and accessories come together as a coherent whole.

For us, the award is above all a tribute to the people behind every project. Furnishing a home or a hotel is always a team effort, and this international recognition encourages us to continue with the same care.

What an award tells you about a furniture company

An award is no substitute for your own checks. An award becomes meaningful when it fits the other facts: a registered company address you can verify, a complete legal notice, secure payment methods and customer reviews collected over a long period of time.

That is exactly how we would like our awards to be understood. They do not stand alone. A FairCommerce member since 2019

Casa Padrino has been a member of the FairCommerce initiative since 11 August 2019. The initiative stands for fair conduct in online retail, both among retailers and towards customers. By joining, we commit ourselves to that idea and make it visible to everyone who shops with us.

In everyday business, fairness means very concrete things to us: clear prices that include statutory VAT, shipping costs shown before you place your order, a proper invoice issued by Demotex GmbH and understandable information about your rights. As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods; made-to-measure pieces are excluded. Pompöös by Casa Padrino: the collaboration with Harald Glööckler

One of the brand's most visible partnerships is its cooperation with the designer Harald Glööckler. Under the name Pompöös by Casa Padrino, the two create furniture, decorative pieces and bathtubs that combine Glööckler's flair for the grand gesture with Casa Padrino's standards of material and workmanship.

A collaboration of this kind rests on trust. A designer who puts his name to a collection has to be able to rely on his designs being carried out with care and on customers being looked after properly.
